Quick Blog Update

30 Jul

Hi everyone, thank you for your patience with my replies to your comments – I haven’t had any time to attend to the blog over the past few months. I’ve had the busiest year of my life so far and I’m also still receiving large amounts of emails and I haven’t been able to reply to them all yet but I will reply.

Last November it was a wonderful surpise to myself and my husband to find out that I was pregnant. I gave birth to my son at the end of June (just over 5 weeks ago) so at the moment all of my time is being consumed with being a new mum.

Your comments and emails are very important to me and I will have more time to reply and add more posts to the blog in the coming weeks.

I’m sure everybody understands you have a lot on your plate at the moment and that you are finding it hard to even get some time to have a cuppa right now, but time is a great healer but time will make things easier for you, it will come…..

      Hi Chris,
Lovely to hear from you. Yes, I’m just beginning to get used to looking after the baby and now I’m catching up with everything else like the blog and my emails. I’m getting there slowly.

Congratulations on the safe arrival of your baby Penny. That’s great news. Yours is one of the few books I refuse to lend to anyone. As a former nurse (now a full time mammy ) I used to work in ICU so I am extra-fascinated by your work. I look forward to your future work but appreciate thst time with your child is so precious xxx

Penny it’s wonderful news about your new baby. Enjoy! I have 3 gorgeous ” babies” (one of them is 17) of my own and they are so precious. I used to nurse in icu many moons ago so I am interested in your work from a nursing point of view as well as a human one . I hope to read and listen to more of your work soon xxx

      Hi Jean,
Thank you, it’s great to hear that other ICU nurses are also interested in this work. I’d like to get it into the education of all healthcare workers. I’m loving motherhood too.
